The clutch function on the motorcycle is to separate or join the rotation of the engine to the rear wheel transmission , that is, allow the gear change when disengaging the engine from the transmission.
Being a part of great importance in our bikes, in the workshop we check for scooter clutches that:
- The clutch shoes are not worn.
- The state of the driven and drive pulleys, which are usually included with this part.
On motorcycles, it is checked that:
- The clutch discs do not have any damage or excessive wear.
- The general state of the piece is correct.
